dc.description.abstractElectroresistive properties of polycrystalline La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 thin films have been investigated in 80-300 K temperature range. Nanosecond electrical pulses were used to create electric field within the samples. The films are explained to be in a highly resistive stage and strong resistance drop is attributed to the captured carrier release at the strained areas near grain and other boundaries. Possible influence of laser pulses on highly resistive statei s also discussed. The obtained results stimulate further experiments including wideband optical illumination of the La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 films.eng
