The possibilities of operational use of methods of a reliability theory are considered from point of view stands of solution of three groups of problems. At first, collecting of representative statistical dates about loads, design diagrams, physical-mechanical characteristics of materials, geometrical parameters of structures, and other parameters used in the calculations. Secondly, it is necessary to investigate reliability of the applied deterministic calculation and statistically to evaluate possible inaccuracies of the calculation. At last, rated probabilities of the failure of structures. The expediency of an experimental research of reliability of structures is discussed, for what the engineering of their methodical grounds, probably is indispensable, applying methods of mathematical modelling. The new approach to the reliability estimation on the basis of ensuring of functional reliability of buildings is discussed. Thus the probability of the failure should be equal to rationed magnitude of probability.eng
