Heavy duty loadings reduces the strength of pavement construction and shorten the function life of asphalt pavement. Many researches and experiments have shown that the main reason for the appearance of asphalt pavement fatigue is – repeated running of heavy vehicles. This article represents the model of heavy vehicle running. Also in this article is published the analysis of research and data of asphalt pavement roughness and traffic intensity in streets of Vilnius city. The data of asphalt pavement were carried out by the Road Research Laboratory (RRL) of the Department of Roads of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and by State Enterprise Transport and Road Research Institute (TRRI).eng
