E-government: problems and outlook

Abstract

eEurope 2002 initiative of European Commission amplifies that development of information society is one of the key priorities. Development of information society changes activity of the state and autonomous bodies. Application of ITT in the sphere of public administration makes prerequisites to improve the quality if services provided to business and citizens and to speed up dealing with problems, to enlarge the transparency of activities and to redusce corruption.
