Rimantas Busila: „Gyventi reikia, kad gyventum“
Abstract
Businessman, banker, economist, engineer, sportsman, philanthropist Rimantas Busila tells his success story that started since his student times at our University. After two years of chairing the Association of Lithuanian Banks, currently a former manager of the Lithuanian branch of the third-largest European bank AS “UniCredit Bank” manages an agency “Competence Research Academy”, which he set up together with congenial colleagues. The most popular question that everyone asks Rimantas Busila is as follows: “How to Make Money?” Vilnius Gediminas Technical University graduate Rimantas Busila answers this question in Rockefeller’s words: “I feel sorry for those who are working too much to have time to make money.” Some people are living just to work. These are people trapped in routines, who do not have time to think that it might be otherwise. And we should be living to live, it’s a “sin” to work too much. However many people are afraid to change anything, they’re afraid that things might get worse than they are and keep turning in that vicious circle. If they found some time, will and desire to take a stand to think, learn, consider the existing situation and create something new and ingenious – probably their life would become brighter and money would come their way as if naturally.”
