dc.description.abstractStrain measurement method using resistive strain gauges developed by authors and using balanced Wheatstone bridges is described and analyzed. It is established that the balanced bridge method results are not influenced by bridge excitation supply accuracy and fits for multipoint measurements. Main advantages of the method compared to typical used non-balanced bridge applications are shown. Basic equations characterizing the method are presented. Method is confirmed by experimental results.eng
