Adas Meškėnas: „Būtina dalytis žiniomis, tuomet mes galėsime sparčiau judėti į priekį"
Abstract
Nuolatinis ėjimas pirmyn - universali jaunojo mokslininko Ado Meškėno taisyklė, tinkanti ir mokslui, ir gyvenimui. Tiltų ir specialiųjų statinių katedros pirmų metų doktorantas A. Meškėnas mokslo pasaulyje dar tik žengia pirmuosius žingsnius, tačiau kūrybos kančios, iššūkiai, abejonės jam jau nebėra svetimos. A constant movement forward is a universal rule of a young scientist Adas Meškėnas which can be applied to science as well as to life. A. Meškėnas, a first year graduate student of the Department of Bridges and Special Structures, gets only to first base in the world of science. However, the throes of creativity, challenges, and doubts are not something new for him anymore. “The work of a scientist is cyclic, however it moves not in a circle but in a spiral. It is very important not to be afraid of novelties, to fight in its positive sense, to work 24 hours a day and later on to have two daysoff in a row – this is the way of life. Engineering is not treated as a very creative specialization. This happens when we do not create something new but try to mimic something. However, we can mimic even in art which, in this way, becomes uncreative activity. The process of creation is suffering in a certain extent. We need a peculiar way of life to overcome suffering and be able to live with it”, says VGTU graduate student, who identifies a link between music and engineering. “Rhythm and length of notes – is a certain mathematical progression”, shares his ideas Adas Meškėnas.
