Abstract
Distance learning at VGTU is presented in this presentation. Distance Master degree studies (two yeras) have been introduced at the faculty of Civil Engineering in 1999. Currently, there are two study programmes of distance learning: construction management (specialisation of construction economics and business, property evaluation and management (specialisation of property management and specialisation of Internet based technologies and property business). Distance studies are tutored by the Department of Construction Economics and Property Management. Now there are 180 master students from Lithuanian and 4 students from Lebanon. A wide range of measures is used during the process of distance learning, for example, both conventional and electronic books and abstracts of lectures, computer based learning systems, traditional programmes, etc.
