Abstract

The knowledge about the features and programming of 8 bit mid-range PIC microcontrollers are presented. The architecture, memories structure, ports and instruction set of PIC16F84A microcontroller are analyzed. The laboratory works tasks dedicated to PIC16F84A microcontroller programming are given. The edition is dedicated to bachelor students studying Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering study programmes.
