Estimation of tourist potential based on vehicle flow studies

Abstract

The article presents methods for measuring tourist’s flow in the territory in question. Usually, the flow of local tourists is not recorded, but carrying out such tourism planning tasks the analysis should be based on the existing flows. To estimate such a flow, the analysis of vehicles crossing the area and the survey data should be taken into consideration. The flow of tourists in the area is estimated based on the obtained proportion of vehicle flow development and the results of the survey.
