Abstract
Technical progress distates new requirements for housing quality and depreciation criteria composition. Majority of amortization criteria used during past years din't meet contemporary requirements and looses its applicability value. Based on visual-instrumental investigation.Depreciation calculated on basis of multiplication of actual usage time and annual depreciation norm conditions diminished values. Comparison of actual depreciation taken from hosing modernization project and theoretically calculated indexes shows that first ones have considerably higher values. As the most urgent issues related with depreciation of housing and impacting on its development could be listed following ones: Setting of amortization criteria corresponding nrrds of contemporary qualitative level of life. Estimation of social-economic implications related with significantly higher actual depreciation of housing comparatively with projected one.
