dc.description.abstract | An original steel mast structure, in which combined guys with branches are used instead of ordinary continuous ones, is discussed in this paper. Behaviour of ordinary and combined guys is analyzed taking in to account component of load directed along the guy chord. Comparative analysis of analytical and numerical calculation results is presented. The influence of geometrical parameters of combined guy on its stress-strain state is analyzed. Behaviour of the new steel mast structure is investigated, effectiveness in use of this mast structure is pointed out. | eng |
