Abstract
In the article gas movement in elastic pipelines is considered. The following things are taken into account in the present model: distribution of sound waves in gas, elastic and viscous properties of elastic pipelines, and friction of gas on the pipeline wall. The elastic properties of pipeline's material are simulated by the rheological model of Kelvin - Foight. The received system of the equations of gas movements and deformations of the pipeline is solved by a method of the characteristics. Nonlinear algebraic equations are solved by Newton method. Movement of gas (air) in pipelines made from polyvinilchloride (PVC) is considered.
