dc.description.abstractTechnique of investigating magnetic fields induced by CRT monitors by using the personal computer sound card and created software in the MATLAB program package environment is presented. The magnetic field intensity distribution on the screen surface, the intensity decrease character by receding from the monitor screen and the intensity directional diagram were investigated. It has been determined that the largest magnetic field intensity is at the sides of the monitor. The spectrum of induced magnetic fields is discrete with 100 Hz step and continues to 5000 Hz.eng
