All soil contains radionuclides to a greater or lesser extent. Radionuclides are then taken up by crops and transferred to food. The ingestion of radionuclides in food is one of the pathways leading to internal retention and contributes to human exposure from natural and man-made sources. This paper presents l37Cs, *"Sr and"'K activity concentrations in daily food. Samples were taken during period 28 October 2004-23 December 2005 once per month from student's canteen of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU). The average of activity concentration of' Sir in the daily food from the student's canteen was (0.02±0.01) Bq/kg. ofn7Cs (0,04±0,0I) Bq/kg andof'K - (34*3) Bq/kg.eng
