The distribution of errors during the calibration of the linear and angular transducers in 3D measuring systems arc discussed. During the calibration it is possible to find out only a restricted number of values of the information-measuring system. An example of the results shows that during the accuracy calibration some larger values of the error can be omitted including significant ones. So, it is important to evaluate the information quantity on an object that was assessed providing more complete information on the data present in this system. Uncertainty determination of the measuring result in 3D measuring volume is presented with the addition of information entropy parameter that shows a quantity of data assessed.
