Abstract
There is researched the thing in the existential philosophy in the article. The author proposes that the thing arises in a cultural and existential environment. On the other hand, the existence is created while we understand continually our living totality that includes both the future and the past. According to the author, the cultural objects take part in this creation while they enlarge the existential horizont. It is supposed that to be involved into the existential project means to be real. The negative tendencies of the globalization are tied with the cultural objects that are not involved into our existential totality.
