Simulation and properties of the quasi-symmetrical helical structure

Abstract

A quasi-symmetrical helical deflecting system for the traveling-wave cathode-ray tube is considered. The modified multiconductor-lines method and the software package CST Microwave Studio are applied for modeling and simulating the system, and revealing its properties.
