Administracinis-komercinis ir apartamentų centras „HELIOS CITY“, Savanorių pr. 1. Vilnius
Abstract
Architect Leonidas Merkinas assumes that “Helios City” could be identified as symbolic landmark between the Old Town and the New Town. “Helios City” is going to reach the highest altitude not only in Lithuania but in the Baltic States. Magnificent panoramic views of Vilnius will be seen from luxurious and spacious apartments (a 400 sq/m penthouse will have no analogues in the country). The building himself will be especially active in Vilnius townscape at night. The gracious and transparent building will be formed of two storied stylobate, 25-storey skyscraper (Tower A) and a lower multistorey (Tower B). The roofs will be used for planted recreational space. The architect hopes that building and development regulations of the territory will be more opportune to scyscrapes in the nearest future and the lower Tower B will reach his neighbour.
