Steady pace (rhythmicity) of work is a relevant parameter reflecting the performance of production systems. A coefficient (index) of the steady pace is used for quantitative evaluation of a production system’s performance. Various rhythmicity indices often yield different and even conflicting results. The application of logically consistent axioms to a set of indices allows us to identify indices accurately describing a steady pace of production. A case study of rhythmicity of suspended aluminium ceilings’ manufacture at one of the enterprises over the period of 5 years divided into quarters and months is provided.eng
