Giroskopų vystymosi tendencijos
Santrauka
From the earliest days of the gyroscope invention, researchers aimed to minimize the size of the gyro and to increase its accuracy to the maximum. During the twentieth century gyros were improved and perfected so much that their inventors would no longer recognize them. Over the last century, gyros got stripped of such structural elements as the rotating rotor or laser light-reflecting mirrors. The weight of the modern gyro is now measured in grams and a gyroscope would perfectly fit into a matchbox. Gyroscopes became so widely applicable that they are used not only for the purposes of industrial engineering and aviation, but also in everyday consumer-products, such as bicycles, cars, or smart phones.
