Possibilities of compensating errors of coordinate measuring equipment are analysed by evaluating the errors of precise motion and its measuring systems, errors of device contact with the measured object, effects of the ambient temperature variations and other factors. Designs of electrocontact and piezoresonant touch probes, their errors and sources of origin thereof are presented on a larger scale. A mathematical model of computed compensation of spatial touch systematical errors is presented. The efficiency of compensation is illustrated by the results of experiments. The experimental equipment used for measuring of touch device errors is described.eng
