Estimation of spatial movements of the earth-crust according to the data of geodetic measurements

Earth-crust spatial strains have been estimated by finite element method. The algorithm for determining strains has been compiled. Experimental analysis has been carried out on the site of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant geodynamic polygon. The new Earth-crust parameters of spatial movements have been computed - spatial relative linear and shear strains. The results of the research show certain regularities of spatial strains of the Earth-crust, i.e. movements of the Earth-crust in the region of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant are differentiated according to the blocks - the northern block and the southern block. Results of the Earth-crust spatial movements research confirm conclusions of previous research on vertical and horizontal movements in this area and recent tectonic activity of faults and provides additional information for the estimation of eco-geodynamic risk in the nuclear power plant environment.
