Cemento ir armatūros kiekio didinimo įtaka gelžbetonio supleišėjimui ir kokybei
Abstract
Concrete is the most sensitive and important part of concrete and ferroconcrete constructions. Concrete’s structure is formed by choosing right proportions of its components. However, concrete’s structure determines all material’s physical and mechanical characteristics, it is not just a mixture of different components. The concrete is made through certain technological processes, which can be regulated. The conducted estimations and examinations show that tensions in both symmetrically and asymmetrically reinforced concrete depend much on the amount of cement and the rate of reinforcement. If the amount of reinforcement was to be increased 1.5 times, tension in the concrete might grow at the same rate and exceed concrete’s stretching strength. Although concrete’s tension does not exceed its strength, it nevertheless reduces construction’s resistance to chap. The practice has shown that there are few monolith ferroconcrete constructions that do not have chaps until they are under the load external factors. There are also many cases when chaps’ width exceeds all norms. It happens mostly when the concrete’ strength is increased by the higher amount of cement, and the necessary amount of reinforcement is not calculated precisely; when the money is saved; or both ways. It always raises the question: What to do if the chaps exceed norms? The facts revealed in the publication are not new but many designers, producers and builders of ferroconcrete constructions either are not aware of them or do not take them into account. On the other hand, bearing in mind standards indicating concrete’s characteristics and responsibly choosing both components of concrete’s mixture and optimal reinforcement way, more qualitative, endurable and economical ferroconcrete constructions could be made. Today saving materials and energy in the mentioned way is a realistic solution to cut construction prices.
