| dc.description.abstract | This paper presents analysis of current position of intelligent transport systems. There are the productivity and operational efficiency, comfort factors of ITS showed in the article. The analysis of the major local transport problems and driving forces, the ways to help ITS to tackle transport problems and plans for the future by ITS are given.
