Abstract

The article analyses the problems of evaluating the efficiency of investment projects the focus of attention being paid on the evaluation of investment projects financed from EU structural funds, illustrating that it is very complicated to evaluate projects by using separate efficiency criteria and in order to find the generalizing indicator criteria of different aspects are required. The article proposes the evaluation of investment projects by using economic, social and environmental criteria which are selected and grouped taking into account the objectives of EU support assignation. As an J example the applicability of the proposed method of investment project evaluation in I analysing EU financed projects is taken and it is proved, that this method presents a correct and objective picture (efficiency) of the analysed projects.
