Žinių valdymas ir aukštasis mokslas
Abstract
Informacija ir žinios tampa svarbiausiais naujos globalios visuomenės ištekliais. Lietuvoje nėra gausu gamtos turtų, todėl šalies gyventojams ypač aktualu kelti savo intelektinį lygį, mokėti naudotis šiuolaikinėmis informacinėmis technologijomis ir įsijungti į svarbių tarptautinių projektų realizavimą. Straipsnyje aptariama problema, kad jauni žmonės universitete tikisi gauti išsamią informaciją jiems rūpimais klausimais, bet savarankiškai ją rinkti bei analizuoti studentai neįgudę. Šiuo metu Lietuvos aukštosiose mokyklose vis dar labai mažai kompiuterių naudojama mokymo procese ir tai trukdo studentams savarankiškai tobulėti. Straipsnyje gvildenama mintis, kad siekiant tinkamai panaudoti sukauptą informaciją aukštosiose mokyklose pasitelkus informacines technologijas būtina sukurti žinių valdymo sistemas. Šios sistemos leistų sukauptą informaciją taikyti mokymo procese. Information and knowledge is becoming the most importam recourses of globai society. The artide describes how students at the university expect to receive full information on the ąuestions diey care about, however, they are not inclined to search for and analyse data independendy. For the time being Lithuanian higher education schools still rarely uses computers in learning process, which obstructs a possibility for students to improve independendy. The artide discusses an idea that in order to properly employ information accumulated in the higher education schools and transform this information in knowledge it is necessary to create knowledge management system at the universities. Objective. Analyse knowledge management's systems application possibilities at the universities. Methods. Analysis of references and documents, ąuestioning of university students. Conclusions. The most important concept in information society is receiving, creating and managing of information. For this purpose we have a globai information netvvork (Internet). 1. Only about 5 computers per 100 students at Lidiuanian universities are used for learning purposes. Obviously, such number of computers is inadmissibly low in a modern educational institution. 2. The fact, diat majority of students use only notes for exam preparation, indicates, that young people at universities expect to get full information on die ąuestions they care about, and a very low usage of computers in the learning process shows that students can not gain skills in using modern information technologies. 3. Seeking to properly use information accumulated in the higher education schools, transform it in knowledge using information technologies and apply knowledge in practice, it is necessary to create knowledge management system at the universities.
