Abstract
The article deals with export expansion and promotion problems described in scientific literature and investigated in Lithuanian export promotion system. The systems of export promotion enhancement of well developed and developing countries were analyzed and compared. The methods used were logic and statistical analysis of nonfiction literature and statistical data, as well as data found out through internet. Interesting export promotion measures were found out in USA, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Denmark, India, Pakistan. The most useful export promotion system for Lithuania was found being in Czech Republic. Conclusions and suggestions rest on results of the problems and good practice investigated and on comparison of different export promotion systems used in different countries.
