Abstract

The thesis "Economic growth factors and their influence on living standards in Lithuania" analyses the concept and importance of economic growth, the main tendencies of economic growth and living standards in Lithuania and European Union. The upturn of living standards is the main goal of economic growth. The thesis analyses the impact of economic growth for the living standards in Lithuania. The main economic growth trends show the high economic growth in Lithuania. However, the review of the living standards in Lithuania helps to draw a conclusion about law living standards in this country. There are a lot of different economic growth factors. Furthermore it is also important to identify what factors are the most powerful and influential to the economic growth. After summarizing the results, the major economic growth factors for the living standards in Lithuania are pointed out.
