Abstract

The choice of methods applied to evaluate the effectiveness of investment projects depends on the format of investment aims, the project existing cycle, the reliability and amount of information available, the competence of assessor. These are the main methods which are being applied in practice currently: full capital evaluation method (traditional method), equity capital method, expert evaluation, complex project evaluation, synergetic project evaluation method. It is essential to asses all investment projects, on the grounds of the modern methodic, which is based on the synergy method (where economical, social, ecological and other measures are assessed in a complex way). Multi-objective evaluation methods are advisable to apply for the assessment of financial, economic, social, technological, environment protection, and other subjects.
