Lietuvos žemės ūkio šakos konkurencingumo vertinimo ypatumai

Abstract

The article is meant to familiarize with the problem, which emerge while hying to apply the evaluation methods and means the factors, which are conditioning the competitiveness in agriculture. There are discussed the methods and means which are applied in the evaluation of the competitiveness in other branches of economics. Many indicators can define the development of Lithuanian agricultural farms. Some of them values are treated as unit of advantageous assumptions in the creation of competitive daily farm, others- as interferences. In such a contradictory situation is difficult to answer wether Lithuanian dairy farms are ready to compete with EU countries dairy farms. Competition in the most important economy items wish to secure effective economy working. There are many complicated problems, which comprise factors, influencing this process. More and more discussion are going about low Lithuania's abilities to compete in markets. First off all such situation is determined with concentration of agriculture producers in small and not effective farms. Because of that main problem of Lithuania agriculture is shaking and modernizing of farms and other factors of competitiveness consolidation.
