Eglė Radvilė Švedaitė: „Pati didžiausia avantiūra – gyventi“
Abstract
Egle Radvile Svedaite, the Head of the Centre for Information Technology and Systems at VGTU, has made many different discoveries. Instead of acccepting one or two solutions, she still tries to search for new ones. On the one hand, life without a goal is just wandering, but on the other, crossing boundaries and going further may become a real philosophy.‘‘It was fun when I took my father‘s IBM computer (it was expensive one at that time) to pieces and then put it back together again. My parents used to find me not only at the computer, but also in the garage, welding something or hammering out a scythe. Recently, I changed my hobby from welding to melting silver and creating jewelry“ – the Head of the Centre for Information Technology and Systems talks about her latest discovery. We learn from Svedaite about the IT specialist‘s life behind the scenes and the intrigue of exploring her thesis ‚‘‘I experiment and wait for the results – and this is the charm of my work“ – says the IT specialist.
