Mieste asmeninio automobilio gal ir neturėtų būti
Abstract
Ši Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto (VGTU) Transporto inžinerijos fakulteto prodekano doc. dr. Raimundo Junevičiaus mintis skamba provokuojančiai, tačiau puikiai atspindi dar Alberto Einšteino pasakytą mintį, kad, nuolat darant tą patį, naivu tikėtis kitokių rezultatų. Mūsų pašnekovas įsitikinęs, kad, norėdami sumažinti oro taršą, saugiau jaustis kelyje ir gyventi be transporto spūsčių, turime keisti požiūrį, keistis patys ir, žinoma, pasitelkti technologijas. This idea expressed by associate professor Raimundas Junevičius, vice-dean of the Faculty of Transport Engineering, might sounds provocative, but it’s a good illustration of Albert Einstein’s words “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”. The vice-dean believes that if we want to reduce air pollution, feel safer on the roads and live without traffic jams, we have to change our way of thinking, to change ourselves, and, of course, to make better use of technologies.
