Kam Lietuvai reikia specialistų, kurių rengimas prilygsta aukso kainai?
Santrauka
Why are such aviation professionals, whose training is equivalent to the price of gold, necessary for Lithuania? What is the value added benefit of this most expensive profession? “While establishing our Aviation Institute, we did, what our neighbouring countries were not able to do – we have created an institution which can compete internationally. Why? Because an aviation institution usually prepares specialists either in aircraft piloting, air traffic control, aviation mechanics or avionics. In Antanas Gustaitis’ Aviation Institute, professionals in all four areas are being trained. That is both unique and very cost effective. The aviation centres, training such a wide range of professionals, are rare in the world,” - says Professor Jonas Stankūnas, Director of Antanas Gustaitis’ Aviation Institute at VGTU. The professor believes in the perspectives and future of Lithuanian aviation specialists. According to him, if people have got ideas and willingness to implement them, they will reach their goals, anyway. Nowadays, not only ideas are important for aviation in Lithuania, but also money.
