Conventional correlation factors in the safety analysis of stochastic systems

According to the literature review, the exact and approximated reliability analysis of systems of events requires multivariate integrations procedures and therefore is very difficult and sophisticated. The main task of this paper is to present for designers new unsophisticated concepts and uniform methodological analytical formats on probability-based approaches for reliability predictions of structural and technical systems as systems of events. The simplification of methodology of probability-based analysis and prediction of reliability indices for time-dependent systems of events may be related to the autosystem concepts. It is very useful and posibble to separate the formats of probabilistic analysis of dinamic series autosystems with single and mixed particular elements (normal and oblique sections, connections, deflections) from static series, parallel and series-parallel general systems consisting of autosystem components. [...] The presented unsophisticated probability-based approaches, design models and calculation equation help us avoid complicated multidimensional integrations in the safety analysis of stochastic structural and technical systems as systems of events. It may stimulate designers to use the probabilistic methods in their practice more actively and effectively.
