R. Grubliauskas: „Siekiame būti tie, kurie pradeda teigiamus pokyčius aplinkosaugoje“

Su Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto (VGTU) Aplinkos inžinerijos fakulteto Aplinkos apsaugos ir vandens inžinerijos katedros vedėju doc. dr. Raimondu Grubliausku susitinkame kitą dieną po Žemės dienos minėjimo ir jau tradicija tapusios 22-ą kartą organizuotos jaunųjų mokslininkų konferencijos. Dar naujos atmintyje išlikusios konferencijoje pasisakiusių iškilių ir įdomių pranešėjų iš valstybinių, mokslinių institucijų, pramonės įmonių, taip pat patyrusių ir jaunųjų šios srities mokslininkų mintys ir padiktuoja pokalbio temas. „Konferencijos tematika puikiai atspindi mūsų katedros veiklas, mokslo pasiekimus, jaunųjų mokslininkų ir studentų darbus. Our conversation with assoc. prof. dr. Raimondas Grubliauskas, the Head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Water Engineering at the Faculty of Environment Engineering at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU), took place after the celebration of the Earth Day and the 22nd conference for young researchers; thus, the interview is strongly influenced by the recently heard ideas of prominent and interesting speakers of the conference, who represented state and research institutions, business and both experienced and young researchers in the field. “The topics of the conference fully reflect the activities of our department, scientific achievements, and work of young researchers and students. Every area of environment protection has its own relevant topics, and we are trying to feel the pulse of the latest Lithuanian and global challenges in environmental protection. We want to be the initiators of positive change in environmental protection,” says R. Grubliauskas. He shares the latest developments in environment protection in Lithuania and globally, talks about how the Faculty of Environment Engineering analyses the global trends, what kind of research is carried out and what solutions are being developed to create safer and healthier environment.
