Assemblages of planned and unplanned urban structures in a city (based on the example of Vilnius city centre)

Abstract

The physical shape of a town is often the result of interaction between both planned and unplanned urban developments. This presentation is based on a study of ensembles in the centre of Vilnius city and highlights the most significant urban complex in this part of the city, which is the result of both planned and unplanned development.
