Kalcitinių kalkių savybių nustatymas skirtingais metodais
Abstract
Investigation of the chemical properties of various calcium quicklime was carried out according to requirements of European and GOST standards. The active MgO values obtained by a GOST method and the total MgO values obtained by the EN method are identical. The available CaO value determined by the saccharine method is almost always higher than the values, obtained by the analogous EN method. The GOST method also evaluates in part the less active “hidden” CaO as wel as CaO, bound to low alkaline clinker compounds. The use of the GOST gravimetric method for determination of CO2 content mostly gave increased values, that is why we should use the symbol “less or equal” (£), when this method is used. The main classified indices according to EN (total content CaO + MgO) and GOST (active CaO + MgO) are interrelated and the higher values, the lower differences. The slaking temperature according to the EN method for determination of reactivity are by 30–40 °C lower than that, obtained according to the GOST method. The slaking time is approximately the same and the differences generally are within a 1 min interval.
