Dynamics of resistivity response of La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 films in pulsed high magnetic fields

The resistance response to high magnetic field pulses of 20-40 T was studied for thin films of La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 with different magnetic properties. The relaxation curves of the response dynamics were obtained for temperature range 77-300 K. To study the response dynamics, the original scheme to exclude the negative inductive pike in the end of magnetic pulse was designed. It is shown that the relaxation time is sensitive to the temperature of the resistivity maximum and to a quality of a film. The observed relaxation times are assumed to be related to existence of magnetic domains. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
