Abstract
The paper analyses chemical and magnetronic coating methods. The investigation is made into the types of such implant-oriented materials that are best featured for their bonding properties. It has been established that the most durable and solid coatings are the ones that are made by way of magnetronic method. The coatings are less subject to wear-out process when cobalt plays the function of the bonding material once inserted between polyethylene and ceramics and subsequently coated with the layer of ceramic material.
