Dirbtinės kilmės radionuklidų Baltijos jūros Lietuvos priekrantės vandenyje nulemtos žmonių apšvitos vertinimas
Abstract
This work presents the results of the exposure doses to humans from long-lived radionuclides in the coastal waters of the Baltic Sea near Lithuania. The variations of volumetric activity of 137Cs and 90Sr in the coastal waters in 1985–2018 were analyzed. Effective exposure doses from these radionuclides to humans due to immersion in the seawater and ingestion of contaminated water were calculated using the results of the measurements. The highest calculated effective doses to humans due to immersion in the seawater was 0,336 pSv (from 137Cs) and 0,069 pSv (from 90Sr), by ingesting contaminated water – 2,72 nSv (from 137Cs) and 1,23 nSv (from 90Sr). The level of the effective exposure doses was considerably lower than its limit and did not make any risk for humans health.
