Эколого-экономические аспекты исползования осушительных систем в Литовской республике

Abstract

More than 2,58 million hectares have been drained in Lithuania. The passed Law on Land Reclamation regulates the issues of the ownership of land reclamation installations. The drainage network has become closely related with the land ownership. A methodology of financing the state land reclamation installations has been prepared, it has been provided for to draw plans of using and maintaining drainage systems. These plans should address the needs, priorities and potential of agricultural production, ecological issues as well as needs and opinions of private users of the drainage system.
