Hidrografinio tinklo pokyčiai Lietuvos mažųjų upių baseinuose

Abstract

Straipsnyje aptariami Lietuvos upių baseinų hidrografinio tinklo pokyčiai XX amžiuje. Tyrimai apima Alovės, Gynevėlės ir Knituojos upių baseinus. Nustatant hidrografinio tinklo pokyčių skirtumus naudojami stambaus mastelio topografiniai žemėlapiai bei palyginamosios kartografijos metodas. Rezultatai pateikiami tiek kiekybine, tiek kokybine išraiška.

Areal hydrographic objects in the Alovė, Gynevėlė and Knituoja catchments changed differently. In the Alovė and Knituoja catchments, there are some lakes, and this fact predetermined the major part of natural hydrographic objects. Today in the Alovė cachment there are 90% and in the Knituoja 10% of natural lakes and ponds. In the Gynevėlė catchment, all hydrographic objects are artificial. In the 20th century, the number of areal hydrographic objects in the Gynevėlė catchment increased 50 times. After the total drainage, the area of swamps and bogs in the Alovė, Gynevėlė and Knituoja catchments decreased 2–7 times. The decrease was most significant in the Gynevėlė catchment. As a result of explosive drainage, the spring run-off in the catchments was sudden but shorter.
