Abstract

Finansų sistema yra svarbi šaiies ūkiui, kadangi ji palengvina efektyvų kapitalo paskirstymą ir užtikrina maksimalų šalyje pagaminamo produkto augimą. Finansų sistemos efektyvumą reikia vertinti kaip privataus verslo efektyvumą, reišiantį ilgalaikį privačių firmų pelningumą ir socialinį efektyvumą, bendrą visuomenės gerbūvio maksimizavimą. Sukurti teisinę ir ekonominę aplinką, skatinančią privatų ir socialinį finansų sistemos efektyvumą, yra pagrindinis šalies uždavinys.

The financial system is important to economy because it facilitates efficient allocation of funds and enables to reach its maximum output. The efficiency of a financial system or any business should be evaluated in terms of private efficiency that typically means maximising the long -term profits of the firms, and social efficiency that means maximising the overall welfare of the community. Creation of economical and legal environment that promotes private and social efficiency of the financial system is the principal concern of transitional economy.
