dc.description.abstract | The processes of technological development and implementation of technologies in road transport have been thoroughly analyzed in terms of technological, economic and managerial aspects, both, by the managers of transport companies (decision-makers), and scientists. Alternatives of technological development of road transport companies are analysed and assessed according to their impact on development of the company’s services, increase of operational efficiency and competitiveness. One of the main components of technological development are information systems and their management in freight transportation by rail. During the structural analysis of technological development, the components of the this development process and the factors determining the development of the road transport company are identified. An expert evaluation questionnaire is developed according to the distinguished quality criteria of the impact of the road transport company activity on freight transportation by rail. Having processed the data of the expert survey, the criteria are arranged and the results of the research are presented. Conclusions and suggestions are presented at the end. | eng |
