Abstract
Ecological problems include natural processes influencing on biosphere. Catastrophic earthquakes (CE) with magnetude M>6 refer to the hazard processes. The often consequences of CE are social and moral damage and human victims. It is clear that the only one method excists to reduce CE aftereffects - it is the CE prediction. This method must be reliable. A new proposed CE prediction method in the present paper connected with hard cosmic rays flux (HCRF) intensity course near the ground surface. “Impulse calculation” method is used to define CE became more effective. It has a difinite criterion to predicte CE 1-2 days before its action. The experimental results and CE activities are compared in this paper. The CE prediction method properties at the various situation are analysed. The conclusion of advisability of proposed “impulse calculation” method is made. The CE localization difinition is unsolved problem up to now.
