Long-term radionuclides volume activity (v.a.) monitoring (1976-1990) data showed that measurement results obtained in steady observation station give realible information of the coastal area of the Baltic sea radioactive equilibrium between atmosphere and surface water was observed in the coastal zone. Chernobyl Power Plant accident influenced upon the Baltic sea coastal water by radionuclides 137Cs and 144Ce. Radionuclide 90Sr volume activity was practically unchangerable. The mechanism of radionuklides fallout from atmosphere are various. It can be illustrated by 137Cs and 144Ce a.v. structure field variations in open sea and coastal zone near Juodkrantė. The Baltic sea inhomogeneous contamination by radionuclide 137Cs in 1988-1990 leads to equalization of 137Cs v.a. in the surface waie and it causes v.a. increase in costal waters.
