Government regulations as an opportunity to foster the creation and application of innovations in the context of green organisations: the case of Lithuania
Abstract
The purpose of the research is to identify future directions for improving government regulatory measures that would foster the creation and application of innovations in the context of green organisations. The research methodology included critical analysis, synthesis, and abstraction of scientific literature and strategic documents. The authors conducted structured interviews with representatives of green organisations and an in-depth interview with the representative of a consulting company. The results were processed using the methods of comparative analysis and content analysis. Directions for the improvement of government regulatory measures at the national level have been proposed in order to promote the creation/application of innovations in the context of the development of green organisations. The results of the research have practical implications of forming a basis for improving future governmental regulatory measures in order to foster the creation and application of innovations in green organisations.
