The bolt with nut is an undoubtabiy common and fast way to connect two or more objects/parts. They are widely used in various fields such as construction, automobiles, vehicles, machinery manufacturing and aerospace industries etc. Bolt and nut connections come in a variety of sizes, shapes and materials. The choice of bolted nut connection depends on the specific application requirements, such as load, corrosion resistance, temperature range, etc. The most popular thread profile angles are 55 and 60 degrees. This angle is important because it influences the strength and durability of the bolt connection. Meanwhile, the influence of smaller and larger thread profile angles on strength and stiffness has not been sufficiently studied. In order to capture the influence of the thread angle, the analytical model based on the small elastic strain approach was applied. An author’s model which accurately describes the investigations of stresses as a function of thread angle in bolt-nut connection under static loading.eng
