dc.description.abstractThis article presents experimental studies of different firearm suppressors. Measurements of two new, differently sized firearm suppressors are compared to a typical firearm suppressor made in Norway (A-Tec). The new small and large suppressors performed comparably measuring 122,76 dB and 120,51 dB respectively to A-Tec's 122,36 dB. The new small and large suppressors also demonstrate better sound suppression in the 20 - 200 Hz range but aren't as effective in the 250 Hz - 20 kHz range.eng
